Customers in Tonale have the option of a turbocharged, 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine that is mated with a nine-speed auto transmission. It produces 256 horsepower and 295 pounds of torque. Tonale, a non-hybrid, will be equipped with an all-wheel drive.
Alfa Romeo claims the Tonale will offer the same driving dynamics and performance as its other models. The Tonale has a 13.6 to1 steering ratio, independent suspension front-rear, and optional adaptive dampers. These dampers can be set to Sport or Comfort.
Tonale’s design is faithful to the concept. The Alfa Romeo grille is framed by U-shaped LED headlights. The rear features a sleek, full-width taillight that echoes the front’s three-piece lighting theme. The Tonale is 178.3 inches in length, which makes it slightly longer than a BMW X1 while still being six inches shorter than an X3.
The interior features include a 10.3-inch touchscreen with Stellantis Uconnect 5, infotainment, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Uconnect 5 will include Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. Owners can remotely lock, unlock, or start their doors using the Alfa Connect app. Tonale owners can receive updates via the internet.
Alfa Romeo claims that the Tonale will become the first vehicle to be issued an NFT digital certificate. It will track vehicle data and serve as a certificate that the Tonale was properly maintained and serviced. This will increase the car’s value and allow future owners to know what they are getting into. Alfa Romeo acknowledged that the NFT does not keep records if you maintain your vehicle yourself. The Tonale is equipped with adaptive cruise control, an emergency brake, and lane-keeping assist. Traffic Jam Assist allows you to adjust and direct your vehicle’s speed on the highway.

There will be three trim levels for the Tonale: Veloce Ti Sprint, Ti, and Ti. Three trim levels of the Tonale will be offered: Veloce Ti, Sprint, and Ti. It will go on sale in 2023’s first quarter.
