2024 MINI Countryman – MINI confirmed yesterday that the Countryman’s successor will be available in both ICE-powered and electrified form. Today’s spy photographers captured a sporty version of the SUV on Munich’s public roads. It was dressed in camouflage and features that suggest it might be the Countryman S.

2024 MINI Countryman Review
Last week, the spy debut of 2024 MINI Countryman was made when a smaller version of the premium compact segment was seen in the wild. It revealed a larger footprint. A rumored 200mm (7.5 inches) length increase will lead to a larger cabin and more practicality. This latest prototype clearly shows that it is a performance-focused model, as it does all the quick bites.
Specs & Engine
It appears to have bigger intakes at the front bumper, judging by the camouflage pattern. It is also fitted with wider wheels and Pirelli P Zero tires. The double-spoke bitone rims at the rear axle conceal beefier brakes. The most important thing about this prototype is that it features quad exhaust pipes. This is the first Countryman to have them. BMW Group is the only automaker that does not use fake exhaust. This is evident in the 2024 MINI Countryman S. However, this prototype has a higher ground clearance.
2024 MINI Countryman Redesign
The BMW X1 will be a brother to the MINI Countryman, as they share the same underpinnings. The third-generation Countryman will be able to ride on an evolved version of the FAAR platform, which was first introduced in the BMW 2-Series Active Tourer. MINI confirmed that it will offer a gasoline- and diesel-powered version, as well as an electrified model. The Countryman S/JCW will get an upgraded version of the TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine with sportier suspension and visual tweaks that differentiate them from the regular Countryman. The current Countryman S has a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that produces 189 horsepower (141 kW/192 PS), while Countryman JCW ALL4 is capable of producing 301 horsepower (224 kW/305 PS).
