2024 Mini Paceman All-Electric Crossover – Mini had previously announced that the last Mini-powered combustion engine would be launched in 2025 before switching to an entirely electric vehicle. Mini is already adapting to the new propulsion technology. It intends to launch two all-electric crossovers. One of the crossovers could be an upgrade to the Mini Paceman. Car reports that sources claim Mini will revive Paceman’s nameplate, which was in use from 2013 to 2016. (pictured above). Next year, the new Paceman will become available. It will have a four-door crossover design that will increase its appeal in compact crossover markets. A three-door crossover is appealing, but it is not what most customers want.

According to the publication, an all-wheel-drive could be an option for the new Paceman. While it’s not known what electric powertrain Mini will use to bring the Paceman to life, sources told Car that the 60-kilowatt-hour-battery could be used. Mini CEO Bernd Korber stated to Car that the company will be using a customized EV platform and an evolution of its existing architecture in support of its future vehicles.
The Paceman will also borrow styling elements from next-generation Mini Coopers. This applies to both the interior and exterior. We expect Mini’s new range to feature similar interiors. According to the report, the new Pacemen’s roofline will be lower than that of the previous model. It will also feature a larger grille with a body-colored design. As spy shots show, the brand’s signature styling cues will remain in the next-generation Cooper. They can be expected to make their way onto the Paceman.

Mini will offer both electric and combustion cars until 2030, as it navigates the many changes that are coming to the auto industry over the next few decades. While battery-electric powertrains have many advantages, it is difficult to fit them in small cars like Mini’s.
