Buyers have the option to add an offroad utility pack, vaults at both the rear and center consoles, or graphic packs. Ford dealers can be ordered directly to order the truck. All modifications come with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty. The original truck price is not included in the base price of $13,250. Every Roush Ranger begins as a RangerXLT equipped with either the 301A and 302A equipment packs. The MSRP for this truck is $32,015, which would translate to approximately $45,000. This is excessive for a truck with 270 horsepower.
Performance & Engine
Roush claims that their cat-back exhaust system boosts horsepower and torque while producing an aggressive exhaust note. It states, however, that the truck produces only 270 horses. Roush was kind enough to clarify. The cat-back exhaust produces very little horsepower (6 HP, +8QQ), but ROUSH’s Performance Pac which includes both a tune and cold-air intake is the real power adder. The Performance Pac for 2022 remains to be finalized. The version last year gained 47 horsepower at each of the rear wheels.
