2022 Ford F-150 STX Black Appearance Package – Ford’s Black Appearance packages have been a popular option in recent years. Blacked-out trims with darkened Blue Oval are attractive designs. At least, that’s what popularity and demand dictate. The Black Appearance Package was offered by the American automaker in the Ford F-150’s previous generation. While the initial model year of the fourteenth-generation F-150 doesn’t come with the said package, the upcoming 2022 model year is said to be arriving with a variety of Black Appearance Packages. An STX Black Appearance package will be available.
2022 Ford F-150 STX Black Appearance Package Changes
According to Ford Authority, this information was sourced from sources who are familiar with the matter. We have some details to help you paint a picture of the new option, though no images are available. The publication states that the STX Black Appearance package will only be available on XL models with 101A High equipment options on SuperCab or SuperCrew bodies, as well as the regular STX Appearance package.
The following packages will not be available: 3.3L Duratec V6, EcoBoost V6 with 2-wheel drive, eight-way driver’s seat and Heavy-Duty payload package, STX Appearance Pack, or XL chrome appearance package. The F-150 Hybrid won’t have this option, but there are other options.
The STX Black Appearance Package will include body-color front bumpers and rear bumpers, as well as a box side sticker (except for FX4 Package), and black bodyside stickers (four-wheel drive or FX4), glossy 20-inch aluminum wheels, and black dual exhaust tips. It will also include a matte black F-150 tailgate logo and exterior badges in black.
