According to the publication, an all-wheel-drive could be an option for the new Paceman. While it’s not known what electric powertrain Mini will use to bring the Paceman to life, sources told Car that the 60-kilowatt-hour-battery could be used. Mini CEO Bernd Korber stated to Car that the company will be using a customized EV platform and an evolution of its existing architecture in support of its future vehicles.

The Paceman will also borrow styling elements from next-generation Mini Coopers. This applies to both the interior and exterior. We expect Mini’s new range to feature similar interiors. According to the report, the new Pacemen’s roofline will be lower than that of the previous model. It will also feature a larger grille with a body-colored design. As spy shots show, the brand’s signature styling cues will remain in the next-generation Cooper. They can be expected to make their way onto the Paceman.
