2024 Jeep Electric Off-Roader Review
As the combined FCA/PSA has an entire electric calendar, we are only scratching the surface. The United States will have more than 25 BEVs in 2030, for example. Jeep’s baby SUV will be the first American brand to get rid of the combustion engine. This was teased yesterday. It will be available for purchase in 2023. One year later, two additional zero-emission models are planned.
In 2024, a “Pure Offroad UV” as well as a “Lifestyle Family UTV,” will be available. The Stellantis Electric Vehicle Day teased the former. Stellantis’s parent Stellantis is currently developing four electric vehicle platforms. It will be able to ride on it. STLA Frame will be used by large pickups and truck-based SUVs with a range of around 500 miles (800 km). These vehicles will come equipped with batteries with capacities of 159 to 200 kWh.
The big Jeep SUV won’t have a gasoline engine so it will be mechanically identical to the 2024 Ram 1500. It will also be based on STLA Frame architecture. It will be a rectangular design with a tailgate-mounted spare and perhaps three rows of seating. It will have a four-wheel drive. This means there will be one electric motor driving the front and one at the rear.

The new electric Jeep SUV is still not available. It will, however, be smaller according to logic. It could ride on the STLA Large architecture. It can be used for models covering 500 miles (800 km), using 101-to-118-kWh packs.
