2023 Toyota bZ4X Sport Concept – Toyota’s new, more dynamic-looking, bZ4XGR Sport Concept was just unveiled at Tokyo’s 2022 Tokyo Auto Show. Toyota doesn’t mention any performance-enhancing modifications, but visually, the changes are easy to spot.

The bZ4X concept has a sporty look and large-diameter tires. It also features wider tires to increase grip and matte black body panels for a more intimidating appearance. The carmaker doesn’t have much to say about the interior, other than that it features sports seats.

It is possible to imagine that the specifications will soon be made available. It may also have a sportier steering wheel with contrast stitching and more vibrant colors.
Engine
We’re not sure if it will also come with performance-enhancing modifications, which would mean the quickest variant will still be the dual-motor model, putting down a combined 215 hp (218 ps). In a straight line, it will get you to 62 mph (100 kph) in 7.7 seconds, and if you take it easy, you could drive for a manufacturer-estimated 250 miles (400 km).

Personal note: I find it a bit silly to release a GR Sport spec bZ4X without more power. Even with its sharp angles, the crossover looks great. People who love cars would feel a bit empty if the GR Sport badge had no additional performance. The 7.7 second sprint time has a lot of potentials. This pace is slow by EV standards.
