2023 GMC Sierra EV – GMC hopes to become the first automaker to sell not one, but two of its electric pickup trucks. Its 2023 GMC Sierra EV is set to join the current GMC Hummer EV soon, and we’ve got a glimpse of the front of it that will appear as a result of this teaser image. With a grille blocked off and a futuristic-looking lighting system, The Electric version is expected to appear more futuristic than the gas-powered Sierra.

Similar to Hummer EV and the closely related Chevy Silverado EV, which is scheduled to launch in 2022 The electric Sierra will run on the GM Ultium battery packs, which should offer an up-to 400-mile range.

Many of the details regarding the Silverado EV that Chevy has revealed, such as its fixed glass roof and rear-wheel steering system–should be applicable on the GMC model, too. As expected, GMC EV will also offer a Denali trim level. GMC EV will offer a high-end range Denali model with a trim.

We don’t know the exact launch day for Sierra EV yet but expect it to launch in the first quarter of 2022. GMC plans to construct it in conjunction with its Hummer Hummer Silverado and Silverado within their Factory Zero plant in Michigan.
