Because it’s based on the XL-trim pickup, you don’t need to shed any skin to be able to afford one. FX4 Off-Road is an additional package that is available on to an XL Ford F-150 Rattler. It begins at $39,200 in 2022 and features the features that will increase your capabilities to perform far from the road. It is less expensive than the top-of-the-line Raptor/Tremor.

FX4 options aren’t offered with the 290 horsepower, 3.3L V6. It’s going to cost a minimum of $1192 for the 325 horsepower EcoBoost V6 and slightly greater on a 5.0L EcoBoost V8 or the 3.5L EcoBoost engines.

What’s the cost? Ford hasn’t yet announced the pricing of the 2023 F-150 and neither has the company released pricing details. We expect it to cost more in comparison to the FX4 $1,005 bundle that includes an XL as well as the engine upgrade. We estimate it to cost about $45,000, not including delivery.
