We are immediately struck by the new lighting arrangement in these spy photos. These lights look very similar to the spy photos of the 2023 Silverado HD. It appears that the grille could also be changed. It will be interesting to see how that grille will compare with the one on the Silverado. The most significant change is the removal of the bumper at the bottom front grille.

The Silverado has just had a complete overhaul, so it is only natural that Colorado will follow suit. It’s difficult to see what will happen in these camouflaged photos. But we expect more than a simple exterior refresh. We want a new interior design, a larger touch screen, and more comfortable seats.

The 2023 model year will not be revealed until the first quarter of 2022. We have plenty of speculation to do between now, and then. Forums are asking a lot of questions about whether the diesel engine option will be removed from the truck.
