Engine

Cadillac has done an incredible job keeping all details about Cadillac’s Escalade V Series under wraps. We don’t yet know the exact powertrain, but rumors suggest that Cadillac will use a supercharged V8 engine from the Chevy Camaro ZL or CT5-V Blackwing. The Escalade already has a V8. It has a 4.2-kilowatt V8 and 420 horsepower. Blackwing produces 668 horsepower (498kW), while Camaro’s engine generates 650 horsepower (484kW).

Feature

We don’t know much about the SUV but five photos provide some visual information. Surprisingly the SUV looks very much like an Escalade. The new SUV’s design is unique. The front of the new SUV features a unique design with a mesh grille and a revised lower bumper. For daytime running lights, new housings are available. They are sportier in appearance.

The rear has a slightly more subtle design with a lower intake valance and four large, round exhaust tips. One interior photo shows the new V badge on the steering wheel. We expect more interior details for the V-Series. The Escalade V’s unique aesthetic is enhanced with the blacked-out trim that replaces the chrome bits.
