2023 Cadillac Escalade-V – Rumours have circulated for years but we now know more about the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V. Cadillac today gives us our first official look at the SUV, albeit with very few details. Cadillac has added some information to our first set of official photos. It isn’t much. Spring will see a full unveiling. We will be able to get more information on this SUV and a detailed rundown of its specifications.
2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Redesign
Cadillac has done an incredible job keeping all details about Cadillac’s Escalade V Series under wraps. We don’t yet know the exact powertrain, but rumors suggest that Cadillac will use a supercharged V8 engine from the Chevy Camaro ZL or CT5-V Blackwing. The Escalade already has a V8. It has a 4.2-kilowatt V8 and 420 horsepower. Blackwing produces 668 horsepower (498kW), while Camaro’s engine generates 650 horsepower (484kW).
We don’t know much about the SUV but five photos provide some visual information. Surprisingly the SUV looks very much like an Escalade. The new SUV’s design is unique. The front of the new SUV features a unique design with a mesh grille and a revised lower bumper. For daytime running lights, new housings are available. They are sportier in appearance.
The rear has a slightly more subtle design with a lower intake valance and four large, round exhaust tips. One interior photo shows the new V badge on the steering wheel. We expect more interior details for the V-Series. The Escalade V’s unique aesthetic is enhanced with the blacked-out trim that replaces the chrome bits.
2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Launched
Cadillac will unveil the whole SUV this spring. We expect Cadillac to launch a teaser campaign before the official unveiling, although no date has been announced. Any new information will be kept in our sights.
