2023 Buick Encore GX – The Buick Encore 2023 will see a minor update in 2023. The subcompact crossover SUV, Buick Encore 2023, was first launched in 2020. Since then, it has been subject to very few changes. Buick’s current trends suggest that an update is needed, especially as the regular Buick Encore is soon to be discontinued. Encore GX is the most economical model. There are three trim options for the Encore GX: Select, Preferred, and Essence. The Encore GX Sport Touring is also available for top-level Essence models. Encore GX Sport Touring comes with two-tone paint and various tires. The main differences between trim levels are in features and minor trim. The Encore GX is lighter and smaller than the Envision and Enclave SUVs, but it still features the more luxurious Avenir trim. This is not certain if it will change in 2023. Encore GX may be sold at a reduced price to make up for the loss.

Certain front-wheel-drive models get a turbocharged, 130-horsepower, 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission. The turbo-1.3-liter triple-cylinder generates 155 horsepower and the 9-speed automatic is available on Preferred and Essence models. This arrangement will remain the same. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has rated the Encore GX 2023 Encore GX as Top Safety Pick with outstanding scores in every major category, standard pedestrian detection, and good scores across all categories. IIHS did not approve Essence’s headlights. This could be rectified by a styling change.
